Buying and delivery

How fast will United Trading Company reply to my enquiry?

United Trading Company answers enquiries on 0313 2291500, by call or WhatsApp, during shop hours: Monday to Friday 11 am to 7:30 pm and Saturday 11 am to 7 pm. We are closed on Sunday. A message sent while the shop is closed is read when it opens.

For the fastest answer, send the item, the size or quantity, and your area in one WhatsApp message. A photo of the old item or the building entrance saves a second round of questions.

Does United Trading Company deliver in Karachi, and is delivery free?

Yes, United Trading Company delivers all over Karachi. The charge is agreed on a call or on WhatsApp before you order, because it depends on what you buy and where it goes. We do not print a fixed delivery rate. You can also collect from the shop at Shams Chamber, Shahrah-e-Liaquat.

Tell us your area when you ask for the quote, and the delivery charge comes with the price in the same message.

Does United Trading Company keep stock, or is everything ordered?

We keep some items at the shop and order others for you. Because it changes by item and size, the only reliable answer is a quick message. Send the item and size on WhatsApp 0313 2291500 and we confirm what is ready before you make the trip.

Walk-in buyers and project buyers are both served: one extinguisher for a shop, or a list for a building.

Do you give an invoice, warranty and test certificates with equipment?

Tell us which documents you need when you ask for the quote, and we tell you which ones come with that item before you pay. Maker datasheets and test certificates exist for some products and not for others, so we answer item by item and do not promise one set for everything.

If a document matters to you, such as a datasheet for an inspector, say so first. It is much easier to arrange before the sale than after.

After-sales

What happens if equipment fails soon after purchase?

Call or WhatsApp 0313 2291500 with a photo of the item and your invoice or bill. We look at what failed and tell you the outcome. We do not publish one blanket warranty line, because cover differs between brands and between a gauge, a hose and a detector.

Do not wait if the item protects people. An extinguisher with a gauge in the red, or a detector that will not test, should be reported the day you see it.

Who do I contact for help after delivery or installation?

Use the same number you ordered on: 0313 2291500, by call or WhatsApp, Monday to Friday 11 am to 7:30 pm and Saturday 11 am to 7 pm. There is no separate helpline. One number means the person who answers can see your order.

For installed systems, mention the building and the date of the work so we find the job quickly.

Services we do and do not offer

Do you provide fire safety audits?

Yes. United Trading Company carries out fire safety audits for shops, offices, factories and buildings in Karachi. The audit page explains what is checked and what you receive, so we do not repeat it here. Read what a fire safety audit covers.

Do you offer fire safety training or drills for staff?

No. United Trading Company does not run fire safety training or evacuation drills. We supply and install the equipment. Our guide to making an evacuation plan covers what a drill should include, so your own team can run one. Fire evacuation plan guide.

What else do you not do?

We do not take back old or empty extinguishers, and we do not give emergency response. We are a supplier. For refilling, see the extinguisher refilling page. For equipment we do supply, including fire doors and the Fire Breaker aerosol fire device, see the equipment catalogue.

Emergency

What is the fire brigade number in Karachi?

The fire brigade number in Karachi is 16, as listed in Karachi Police's published emergency directory. The same directory lists Rescue 1122 and Police Madadgar 15. Save all three in your phone now, and if one does not connect, try the next.

United Trading Company is a shop, not an emergency service. In a fire, get everyone out first, then call. Do not call our number. Sources: Karachi Police emergency directory (undated), checked 25 October 2026; Daily Pakistan, 4 August 2023, on the merger of the Madadgar 15 and 1122 helplines.

How many fire stations does Karachi have?

Dawn reported on 17 December 2025 that a provincial assembly member said Karachi has 20 fire stations and needs 200. Counts differ between reports, and we found no official list, so treat any single number as an estimate.

Karachi recorded about 2,400 fire incidents in 2025, with October the worst month at 278, according to Geo and The News on 21 January 2026. See the Karachi fire data page for the full tables. Sources: Dawn, 17 December 2025; Geo and The News, 21 January 2026.
