Who are we?
United Trading Company, Shop no 1, Shams Chamber, Shahrah-e-Liaquat, opposite DIGP investigation office, Seari Quarters, Karachi. Phone and WhatsApp 0313 2291500. We supply fire safety equipment, PPE and industrial hoses, and we install, inspect and maintain fire protection systems.

How does buying from United Trading Company work?
This website shows what we supply. It does not take online orders or payments. To buy, call or WhatsApp us, send the quote form, or visit the shop. We reply with what fits your need and a price.
An order is confirmed only when we have agreed the item, the quantity, the price, the delivery charge if any and how you will pay, and we have issued an invoice. A product page, a photo or a message that says "available" is not a confirmed order.
How do quotes and prices work?
We do not print prices on this website, because prices of safety equipment change with supplier costs. A quote is the price for the items, sizes, brands and quantity written in it. Each quote says how long it holds. After that period, ask us to confirm the price again before you pay. Any delivery charge, installation or extra work that is not written in the quote is not included.
Are the product pictures and descriptions exact?
Not always. Product images on this website are illustrations and may not show the exact model, brand or colour we supply. Ratings, standards, sizes and approvals differ from model to model. Before you buy, ask for the datasheet, the marking on the product or the model name, and check that it fits your need. The website is also not a live stock list. We confirm availability when you ask.
How do I pay?
We tell you the accepted payment methods when we confirm the order. Please pay only against an invoice from United Trading Company. We never ask for card numbers or passwords through this website.
How does delivery work?
We deliver all over Karachi. The delivery charge is agreed on a call or on WhatsApp before we send the order, and delivery times are estimates until we confirm them. When your order arrives, check the type, size, quantity and condition against your invoice, and tell us straight away if something is wrong.
What if something is wrong with my order?
If an item is not what you ordered, or arrives damaged, call or WhatsApp 0313 2291500 with your invoice and a photo as soon as you notice. We will check it and put it right, by replacing it or by another remedy we agree with you.
Extinguishers and other safety equipment that have been opened, used, discharged, filled or modified after delivery cannot be returned.
Is there a warranty?
A warranty exists only where the manufacturer or brand gives one and where it is written on your invoice or in the product papers. We do not promise any warranty that is not written down. Ask for the terms before you buy.
What about installation and service work?
Installation, inspection, testing, maintenance and audit work are quoted in writing after we know the site. The quote lists what is included, and anything not listed is not included. Some work needs approval from the fire brigade, the building authority or your insurer. We will tell you what we know, but unless the written quote says otherwise, applying for those approvals is the owner's responsibility.
Can I rely on the guides and advice on this website?
Use them as general information. The guides explain products, standards and rules in plain words, and show the date on which facts were last checked. They are not legal, engineering or insurance advice, and rules change. For a building, a design or a legal notice, confirm with the authority concerned and with a qualified professional. Our editorial policy explains how we write and check the pages.
How should I use the products I buy?
Follow the manufacturer's instructions and the markings on the product. Check extinguishers, alarms and PPE regularly and replace them when they are damaged or out of date. PPE reduces a risk but does not remove it, and no fire safety product can promise that a fire will not happen or that it will be put out.
Who owns what is on this website?
The text, layout and images on this website belong to United Trading Company. You may link to any page and quote a short extract with credit to United Trading Company. Please do not copy whole pages. Brand and product names belong to their owners. They appear here to identify products.
What are our limits of responsibility?
We are responsible for supplying what we agreed to supply and for work we agreed to do. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that follow indirectly from using this website or from a fire, or for links and services run by other companies, such as WhatsApp and Google Maps. Nothing here limits any right you have under the law of Pakistan.
Which law applies?
These terms follow the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Karachi can hear any dispute. We would still rather settle a problem by talking first, so please call or message us.
Can the terms change?
Yes. We change the "Last updated" date whenever we edit this page. The version in force on the day we confirm your order is the one that applies to that order.
